Dungarees Galore.

Hello there, I was going to be adventurous and take some photos outside but the rain became so torrential I ran back inside and chickened out. So here I am back in the comfort of my own bedroom and blank wall. I am going to try make my photos more interesting in the future, so watch this space.

 Dungarees: Funky Divaa
Black T-Shirt: Primark
Fishnets: Primark

Anyway, this is a long overdue post as I ordered these wonderful dungarees at the beginning of the month, oops. I purchased them after seeing the lovely Amy blog about a different pair and share a cheeky discount code for 50% off, meaning these babies only cost me a tenner. Score.

They are a tad too big as I quickly changed the size when I got to the checkout. I had a sudden panic that my ghetto booty wouldn't fit into a 10. It seems now it would have done. No matter, it now means that if my arse does get bigger (please no!) then I'll still fit into these wonderful things. I really am in love with them, just in case you didn't know.

*Casually showing off my new ring, again.*
Ring: H&M
Daisy Chain Necklace: Present

*Duck face: Am I doing it right?*

Go on admit it, you've missed me.

Creepers: Ebay

It seems that no outfit of mine has been complete without my creepers. Seriously, I wear them all the time. I'm quite please with how well they're lasting seeing as they're cheap knock-offs from China, so much so that I'm considering buying another pair. The only hard bit is choosing a colour. What's your fave creeper colour?

Also, as I finally got my iphone up and running my friend insisted I get Instagram and Twitter and Draw Something and this and that. I never knew there were so many apps! You can literally do everything with these fancy phones can't ya? I know I sound like an old grandma, but I am honestly amazed by it. Just goes to show how uncool I am, lol. Anyway, if you so with to follow me on Instagram just search safiyamarie and my face should pop up.

Because listening to this on the bus makes me feel like I'm in a film.

Guess Who's Back?

Well it has been a mighty long time since I have sat down to compose a blog post. I've missed it.

First of all thanks to you all for sticking around whilst I went off to do those things they call exams. As you may have guessed I am now no longer a sixthformer, no longer a school student. It's weird to say the least. I left officially on Monday after my General Studies exam yet I still feel as though I should be revising for something.

*Look at me just casually showing off my new ring*

Unlike most young British teenagers I did not celebrate my new found freedom by dolling myself up and going on a wild night out, in which I would have lost my dignity only remembering that I had done so through the use of some blurry pictures. No, I'm not cool enough for that.

Instead I went out for a cuppa with a couple close friends. I ended up going back to one of my friends house where we had yet more tea and she taught me how to knit.

I am such an old woman.

*My first ever attempt at knitting*

Now I know that little small square doesn't seem that impressive but there's two different knits there. I don't reckon that's bad for a beginner. Just ignore the holes.

I'm hoping that my knitting skills will improve and then I am going to knit everything. Just you wait.

My friend also lent me some summer reads so I can occupy myself whilst everyone else is off on their travels. She's off backpacking around Europe for a month. And at the end of this week my other friend is off around Italy for two weeks. Makes me wish I was jetting off somewhere too, but I'm excited for them and can't wait to see all the pictures and whatnot.

In other news, I finally got a sim card for my Iphone that my dad got me when I went to see him. I wasn't that bothered by it to be honest as I quite like my little 10 pound samsung, but I thought 'why not?' as I've never had one of these fancy phones. I spent about half an hour in the Orange shop trying to sort it out with my stomach rumbling whilst my friends went off for lunch. At least the guy who was serving me was rather amusing.

Anyway, this was just an update-y kind of post for ya. I should be posting regularly from now on and I have a huge list of DIY things I want to do so expect some of that going on. In the mean time I hope you're all well.

I'm gonna go have some ice-cream now then head off to Josie's to watch Titanic.

Because I'm listening to it now.

Bear With Me.

Bear with me? Get it? Like bare with me. Cos there's a bear in the picture, its meant to be funny...you know.

Who am I kidding eh?

*This is Ross' t-shirt, in case you were wondering*

Right ho! This post is just to let you all know that I wont be posting for a while due to my final A-level exams coming up. My first one is psychology on Monday, eep!

Also, I would have posted a couple days ago but like I said in my last post I met up with my dad, which went a lot better than I had anticipated. He's gone back abroad now so I wont see him for a while yet. But in all honesty I don't actually mind. Even when he was with my mum he was never there as he traveled a lot for work so we never got to see him. On those rare occasions when he would play with us it was only ever brief as he'd get bored and stop to go and have a smoke. Guess what I'm trying to say is that I haven't missed him and I wont really miss him as he was never with us enough to miss. Does that make any sense at all?

This has turned into a diary entry rather than a 'fashion' blog post. Sorry.

Anyway, I hope to be back to normal after my exams which will be in a couple of weeks as mine are all clumped together. So please to bare with me.

Because I love this song

Leave You With A Letter.

Hello there. Not really sure how to start today. Erm. How about the weather seeing as that is what all good British people like to complain about on a daily basis. So, the weather is crap. Which is worrying me as I was planning a Jubilee garden party for tomorrow, and to be honest I don't fancy the idea of munching on a soggy sandwich.

I planned on making bunting too. Goddamn you rain!

Anyway, about this outfit, well I wore this whilst the sun was still shining. I don't normally wear this maxi dress as a dress as it comes down pretty low at the front and makes me look just a tad too booby. Then I remembered this leopard print bandeau that I bought when I was suffering from a leopard print deficiency (My gosh the picture quality is pretty bad) and I reckon it works quite well with the maxi. Although, the bandeau does flatten my boobs down quite a bit which makes my figure look a tad pear shaped. Nothing wrong with that though, I like pears.

Dress: H&M
Bandeau: Ebay
Cardigan: Topshop (Hand Me Down)
Necklace: Ebay

Also, you may notice that I'm not wearing make-up again, as well I couldn't be arsed. I don't think I look too horrific, I mean my face looks a tad blank but what the hell, It's my face.

I'm meeting my dad later on today which I'm feeling rather nervous for as I haven't seen him in around four years so I'm not quite sure what to expect. I'm sure It'll go fine but I can't help but feel apprehensive.

Another thing I'm nervous for is my bloody exams. I have revision posters up around my room and quotes in my bathroom so I can cry out that ''all the perfumes of Arabia will not sweeten this little hand'' when I'm washing my hands. If you know where that quote is from I will give you a virtual high five.

But for now I'm giving you this:

Because...Just because.
